Bey Deserves a Favor)在伦敦上演。 (André
(André Previn

Today in the
history of music
On July 1, 1977, Tom Stoppard's play, "Every Good Bey Deserves a
Favor," mocking human rights violations in Soviet psychiatric hospitals,
was presented in London.Andre Previn directed his own musical
version. Its initials are very helpful in remembering the music.
Andre Previn (April 6, 1929 -- March 1, 2019) was an Encyclopedic
composer, pianist, and composer born in Berlin.
He studied piano at the Conservatory in Berlin and the Conservatory in
Paris before escaping from Nazi Germany in 1939 and becoming an American
citizen in 1943.He has been leading the London Symphony Orchestra for 11
years. He has also served as the chief conductor of many famous European
and American orchestras. He was also a chamber music player, a Broadway
stage playwright, a music editor, a music critic, a TELEVISION host, and
a stunning success in every line.He was honorary conductor of the
Houston Symphony Orchestra.
Born in Berlin, Germany as a Jew, He studied piano at the Berlin Music
School and the Paris Conservatory. In 1939, he escaped from Nazi Germany
due to the outbreak of World War II and went to the United States to
seek refuge with his cousin Charles Pleven. At the time, Charles was the
music director of Universal Pictures in Hollywood. When the family
decided to settle in Los Angeles, Pleven studied piano with Rubinovitch,
music theory with Toh and Aheron, and composition with Castelno
Vertedesco.During this time, Pleven's image of jazz remained "a man in a
funny hat in a restaurant band," but he soon fell in love with the
music. After becoming an American citizen in 1943, Pleven often played
jazz piano on the radio or on film scores, and by the age of 16 was able
to write pretty good jazz music.Pleven's first recordings were made
between 1945 and 46 with partners who later played jazz regularly.By
this time, Pleven had matured in both playing and composing skills, and
his performances were well received by older musicians.Pleven worked at
MGM throughout the 1950s, where his first assignment was to "write songs
and make barks" in the film Lassie. After being drafted into the army,
Pleven was stationed in San Francisco. After playing jazz piano, Pleven
became interested in serious music. In 1951, he studied conducting with
Mondo, who was then working in the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.
Returned to Hollywood in 1953, general lewin as free as a command or
everywhere to play the piano, 1954 write long for gene kelly movie about
40 minutes of music, 58, had been, June 3rd, 64 in the film
"jinfenshijia will", "beggar and slut", "Emma girl", "my fair lady" get
Oscar award.Jazz flourished in California in the '50s and' 60s and
developed into a very special "West Coast jazz".West Coast Jazz has
something to do with so-called Cool Jazz. After combining with BeBOp in
the 1940s, "Cool Jazz" became a higher-order creation form and
performance method.Pleven was quite keen on playing and writing this
music, and he left many records during this time. Most of these
recordings, however, have only band names and no special emphasis on
Pleven. But some personal habits and characteristics, you can still
distinguish the performer is Pleven.
In addition to jazz recordings, some recordings, such as 1956's my Fair
Lady, were published under other names. The sale of "My Fair Lady" caused
a stir, and jazz vinyl records based on Broadway musicals appeared at
the same time. His greatest achievements in jazz were in trios and piano
improvisation to melodies. At the same time, Pleven was recording Wyre's
work for Columbia Records with the famous jazz telescopist.Film scores
and recordings were busy enough for the average person, but Pleaven also
went on to defend jazz, especially against its critics in Hollywood,
though he later became important in conducting symphonies and playing
serious music.Mr. Pleven began conducting the St. Louis Symphony
Orchestra in 1962;After several guest conductor offers, he succeeded
Barberoli as permanent conductor of the Houston Symphony from 1967 to
69.Pleven recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra as early as 1965,
where he was principal conductor from 1968 to 79 and is now the LSO's
Laureate Conductor.

(London Symphony

Leading Jewish musician:
André Previn
Previn's death, at the age of 89, recalls not one, but several golden
ages. Music, obviously: not just classical music - conductors were
household names in his day - but gorgeous film scores and the last
echoes of the golden age of jazz.
Previn was also a serious conductor, pianist and composer, but his
universal musicianship was perfectly suited to the golden age of
television. His efforts to promote great music on BBC1's Saturday night
programme were probably unmatched by anyone before or since.
Previn also represents the golden age of Hollywood. In 1968, Previn
moved to London to conduct the London Symphony Orchestra, bringing an
aura of glamour to the big names there (he won four Oscars and more than
a dozen nominations for film scores). Although Mia Farrow was only one
of his five wives, his marriage to a bona fide movie star enhanced his
aura.
Above all, for anyone alive in 1971, Andre Previn was the greatest "Mr
Preview" of Morecambe sketches with style and wit. For a duo that still
dominates the annals of British comedy, this exotic spectacle from the
United States served their purpose perfectly. |

(Ludwig
(Andre

He was born in
Berlin, in the Weimar Republic, where his family only narrowly escaped
the Nazis: they did not leave until 1938. It was then that the young
Ludwig Andreas Prewin learned he was Jewish because "they threw stones
at me in the street." Andre Previn (the name they used in exile in Los
Angeles) was the personification of the world of high culture at a time
when the gulf between high culture and the rest of humanity was
dizzying. No one as serious as Plevin should have heard of comedians
such as Morecambe and Wise, let alone been promoted by them.
So when Previn took to the stage with Eric and Ernie to play his part,
he memorized his lines only a day in advance, something no one in his
position had ever done. Instantly recognising Liyehudi Menuhin -
Morecambe and wise Pretend had been booked to perform a Christmas
performance of Mendelssohn's violin concerto, but cancelled at the last
minute and his dignity - had taken such risks - though two years later
Menuhin would follow Plevin's example.
This action requires more courage than conducting Stravinsky's work with
the composer sitting in the front row. (After this, Plevin recalls, "The
great man stared at me, his face blank, and he just said one thing: You
have wonderful fingers." In a sense, Plevin sacrificed his prestige
among his peers, but became one of the few who tried in vain to stop
classical music from aging.
When "Mr Andrew Plevin" (or "Mr Plewight") asked Eric Morecambe if he
could take the baton, he recognised a kindred spirit and, with perfect
comic timing, added: "In Chicago." "This is great!" the comedian
reportedly exclaimed. That's true.
When Morecambe sat down to play Greig's piano concerto, Plevin had to
keep a straight face. Then he became perhaps the greatest one-liner ever
told by our greatest TV comedian: "You're playing all the wrong notes.
Morecambe stood up, squared up to the diminutive conductor, grabbed the
lapels of his evening jacket and said: "I'm playing all the right notes,
but not necessarily in the right order."
In that sublime moment, two mutually exclusive worlds were briefly
united. That's what made the sketch so memorable that decades later,
when taxi drivers saw him, they would shout "Mr. Plevin!" "It never
happened again. They don't make comedians like Eric Morecambe any more.
They don't produce musicians like Andre Plevin. . |

(Detlef

The story of
Mutter and Plevin |
|
|
|
|
For art and love, Mutter decided to marry a musician, Andre. I just saw
this picture in the February 2004 issue of The Music Lover, and I
couldn't believe it, but it's the way the world is, the unexpected just
keeps popping up, and it just keeps popping up, and because in classical
music, it's rare for a couple to be married, so it's amazing to us, The
more the more magical thing happens...
Anne-sophie Mutter was born on June 9, 1963 in Baden, Wurttemberg,
Germany. She studied the piano at the age of five, and later the violin.
At the age of seven, Mutter won the Federal Music Competition with a
spectacular performance. In 1974, he won again and began to devote
himself to art. Mutter made her debut with Karayan at the Salzburg
Festival in 1977, launching her career as one of the world's most
respected soloists. He was praised by Carayan as "the greatest musical
genius since Menuhin," and later performed with Carayan and the Berlin
Philharmonic Orchestra, receiving high praise. The three parties have
established a long and fruitful cooperative relationship. Mutter has
since gained popularity as a soloist and chamber musician. In 1978, at
the age of 15, Mutter made her first recording with the Berlin
Philharmonic Orchestra, which won the 1979 International Recording
Award. Since then, Mutter's recordings have won numerous awards and
titles, such as Artist of the Year, German Order of Merit First Class,
Bavarian Order of Merit, etc. In 1983 Mutter became honorary president
of the Mozart Society of Oxford University and in 1996 honorary member
of the Beethoven Society of Bonn. In June 2003, Mutter won the Karayang
Award for Outstanding Contemporary Musician, becoming the first person
to do so.
I got a clear understanding of Plevin in a documentary. It was in 1991
that CCTV aired a 13-episode series called The Journey of Mozart, which
was introduced and played by Plevin. The 13-episode program took
Mozart's piano concerto as the main line, and each episode had a Mozart
piano concerto. What impressed me most was the Mozart Piano Concerto No.
24 conducted and played by Previn himself.
On August 8, 2002, Muth, who was 40 years old, and Andre, who was in his
early 20s. Plevin became the best of Qin and Jin.
Mutter had two children with her previous husband, lawyer Detlef
wunderich, who died of cancer in 1995, while Plevin was married three
times, to singer Dori. Previn, actress Mia. Farrow and Heather the
gemologist. Haley. |

(Tom Stoppard) |

|

(Tom
(Tomas
Straussler)。
