(Francis Poulenc )

(Rapsodie negre)。

Francis Planck was the most loyal member of the group of six to the ideals of Cocteau and Erik Satie. His aim had once seemed to be to amuse, to charm, to fool, to please.
He was a true Parisian, born in Paris shortly before the turn of the century into a wealthy family with fine art and fine music. His mother played the piano very well, and Planck began to learn to play at the age of five.In with card many. After studying for Ricado Vines, Ms. Planck became a prominent pianist.
He was a friend of Debussy and ravel and was the first to perform most of their works.Although he was still in his teens when he met sadie, her musical ideals left a lasting imprint on him.By the time he was 18, Planck had composed "black rhapsody" for baritone, string quartets, flutes, and clarinets
(Rapsodie negre). The music's lighthearted, uninhibited, and acrobatic atmosphere established Planck as a chartered member of the group of six, which had been named only a few years before.
Planck spent most of his life in Paris, except on concert Tours, including several trips to the United States after world war ii.Although he served briefly in both world wars, he was exempted from combat duty because he was young in world war I and too old in world war ii.The humor and simplicity and directness of his music reflected a life that seemed very peaceful. Therefore, there is no stylistic difference between his early and late works or between his religious and secular music.
